Public Speaking Workshop & Contest

The Prince George's County 4-H Team invites ALL youth ages 8-18 to participate in our upcoming Public Speaking Contest.

2025 Public Speaking Workshop & Contest

  • Public Speaking/Spoken Word Workshop - 2 Dates Available
    • February 22, 2025: Registration (Deadline: Friday, February 14, 2025), UMEPGC Clinton Office
    • February 28, 2025: Registration Bowie Library
  • Public Speaking Contest/Spoken Word Showcase - March 29, 2025
    • To register for the contest, please be sure to use our 4-H Online System. Please note there is a $10 enrollment fee.

Clover Days

Open to 4-Hers ages 5-7 years of age.

Youth ages 13-18 may be eligible to volunteer.

4-H Summer Student Internship

PGC4HIntern

 

This opportunity will be open to High School sophomores through seniors. We will limit this program to 5 students.

Students will have the opportunity to work on leadership skills, resume building, and learning about/from professionals in a variety of professions to gain knowledge and experience in these professions that can be used in everyday life.
