Covid 19
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, EFNEP Maryland has prepared a website to learn more about nutrition, food, and how they related to Social Distancing. Click here to learn more!
EFNEP is now virtual! To set up workshops for your participants (parents and youth), please contact EFNEP Coordinator, Baltimore City, Ms. Maribet Brute, MPH at mbrute@umd.edu.
The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) provides free nutrition education workshops to low-income families living in Baltimore City. Participants will learn about how to stretch their food dollars, basic food groups, nutritious food choices, ideas for meal preparation, food safety and storage practices, smart snacking, physical activity, and improving diet for a healthier lifestyle for individuals and families.
