In light of the overarching challenges presented in 2020, this year's PFS has a focus on 'moving us forward' so that we can more accurately anticipate, assess, and address the needs of our communities, clients, and partners. Through recognition of the diversity of experiences and circumstances that individuals and communities possess, we'll touch on strategies to empower others to move toward financial wellness.

Succession Planning: Investing in Your Farm's Future
This Succession Planning Workshop (four-part series) meets every Tuesday afternoon January 12 – February 2, 2021. All sessions run from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Each year, the average age of principal farm operators continues to get just a little bit older. Many of these principal operators may not have developed a succession plan, or even developed an estate plan. Join specialists from the University of Delaware Extension and the University of Maryland Extension as they help prepare you for this process.

Women in Ag
The MidAtlantic Women in Agriculture Conference will celebrate 20 years in 2021. And while we cannot celebrate together we did not want to miss an opportunity to meet.
The conference will be held through the zoom platform on Friday February 12, 2021 from 8:00am to 11:30 am. We are excited to announce nationally known agriculture advocate Michele Payn. We will have some time for breakout sessions to network and close with our own Susan Truehart Garey with her experience as a Nuffield International Farming Scholar.
