Charles County 4-H Clovers
The 4-H Cloverbud Program is a hands-on educational program specially designed for kids ages five through seven as of January 1st. 4-H Cloverbud members participate in learning activities that promote self-confidence, healthy
lifestyles, social skills, and fun!
As a 4-H Clover, your child will:
- Develop self understanding & confidence.
- Learn to communicate in positive ways.
- Learn to work as a team and resolve conflict.
- Achieve positive success through learning.
Clover Craft Night: A monthly event where 4-H clovers can participate in crafts, STEM-related activities, cake
decorating, and more project-area related topics. There is a new activity and theme every month!
Clover Days: A two-day event held during the summer where clovers participate in games, crafts, and more!
Clubs: Clovers can participate as non-competitive members of club to focus on participation and social skill development. Clover Clubs may be individual units or part of a larger 4-H Club with other members ages 8 to 18. In a
combined program, Clovers meet separately from the older 4-H members to work on their Clover curriculum activities.
Outings: Occasionally, the 4-H office holds outings with 4-H Clovers and their families to local museums and parks!
Fair: While 4-H Clovers are non-competitive members of 4-H, they still have their own category at the Charles County Fair where they can enter crafts, baked goods, and more!
