The Chick Cams for 2025 are now live!!!!

Thursday, April 10, 2025:  The incubators have been rearranged for the chick's comfort and better viewing. As you may have seen yesterday, after some chicks hatched, they liked to climb all over the other eggs in the incubator. Hopefully now they are spaced out enough to be comfortable when hatching. In the incubator in the center back (closest to the block wall), the egg to the left has a crack in it. This is a white egg and it is a White Crested Polish. At 5 PM today, it will be the exactly 21 days in the incubator. As you can see, some chicks hatch early, some chicks hatch on time, and some will hatch late.

So far, we have one Blue Andalusian, one Brown Leghorn, one White Crested Polish, one Rhode Island Red and three Easter Eggers. The only breed that hasn't been hatched yet is the Barred Rock.  Rhode Island Red and Barred Rock have been known to hatch a little later than other breeds.
