Harford County Master Gardeners are trained volunteers of the University of Maryland Extension, educating County residents about safe, effective and sustainable horticultural practices. MG's do this in a multitude of ways, including partnering with these local organizations:
Become a Harford County Master Gardener!
- Do you have an interest in gardening and are looking for a way to give back to your community?
- Are you interested in helping others learn to grow their own food?
- Would you like to help the pollinators by teaching the benefits of native plants?
Contact Harford County Master Gardener Coordinator Joyce Browning for information, dates and fees for the 40-hour course. A fee reduction is available by request and is approved based on availability, eligibility, and financial need.
