Ambassador Program
The Carroll County Ambassador program is designed to select 4-H teens who demonstrate the all-around leadership ability within their community, school, 4-H program and family. They should represent the qualities of personal development stressed in the 4-H Youth Development Program. Selection is based on an application, letters of referral, presentation, and interview. Mr. & Miss Carroll County 4-H are selected to serve as the official hosts of the Carroll County 4-H Youth Development Program and all its activities throughout the year. An additional team of youth are selected to assist Mr. & Miss 4-H in fulfilling their duties, as well as promote the Carroll County 4-H Youth Development Program.
As part of the Ambassador Team, these 4-Hers work throughout the year providing service throughout Carroll County 4-H. Ambassadors provide assistant at a variety of events throughout the year including: Beat the Mid-Winter Blahs, Demonstration Day, Public Speaking Day, Achievement Program and the Carroll County 4-H/FFA Fair. They also meet monthly in plan out service projects the team can participate in throughout the year. Make sure to check the Tribune and emails from the Ambassador Team on their upcoming service projects. The team is also encouraged to participate in team building activities throughout the year too.
Ambassadors are also ready to head out to a club meeting and share their knowledge in their specific expertise areas of the 4-H program or to come out and talk to your club or organization about the Carroll County 4-H Program.
