Dropping tomato blossoms
Flowers or blossoms that fall off for no apparent reason are sometimes infected with botrytis, a.k.a. gray mold. This fungal disease attacks the pedicel or flower stem. This is frequently a minor problem of tomato plants. Fungicides should not be applied to control this problem. It may help to thin out the suckers in very dense tomato plantings to reduce the incidence of this problem.
